I knew I had to get out of my comfort zone and include webinars in my overall marketing strategy, if I was hoping to gain the trust of my prospects and position myself as an authority figure in the world of online marketing.
As you might have guessed, it was easier said than done. Much like the majority of the aspiring entrepreneurs of today, I absolutely dreaded speaking in front of hundreds of people, even if it was in a virtual environment.
You see, I never actually planned to become a world-class public speaker I am today, I never even imagined I’d be hosting hundreds of webinars & LIVE events across the globe over the last 8+ years…
In fact, I hated hosting webinars at first. I didn’t have a first clue about writing webinar scripts, creating presentations for them, and I feared how it would reflect on my audience if I hosted a webinar and “choked” halfway through.
I was constantly under stress, tormenting myself with questions like: “What if I mess something up? What if they find the webinar boring? What if I don’t sound convincing enough, and lose my credibility instead of gaining it?”
At the same time, I was well aware that there were no two ways about it…
Back in 2009, I had tried to do all sorts of things… I was a broke, frustrated and a university dropout in my final year, and I knew I had to make dramatic changes to create the life of my dreams and to achieve financial freedom for myself and my family….
There were a couple of issues though…
I was overweight, morbidly obese.
Nobody was aware of who I was or what I was doing.
I didn’t even have my own products to sell.
I didn’t have a lot of money for paid traffic.
I had no tech experience, no business experience.
I didn’t have no confidence, clarity or capabilities.
I didn’t have any patience to learn the traffic skills.
I didn’t like making videos at all (pic of my first ever video)
So how was I able to go and make my first million dollars at age 24?
